ReplyDeleteLost season finale was a good time. I felt like it was a good epsode with some really great scenes spread around.
Locke and Jack in the green house was a really good scene. I'm not a fan of locke, figure in season two they made us pick sides between him and Jack, I went with Jack. I find it funny that locke seems to have only two mind sets, wilderness man of faith or giant man child. when ben and locke are in the actually orchird station and ben had to sit locke down with a fun video just to get him to shut up.
if season four delivered on one thing I felt they needed to it was more sayid. sayid finally had something to do and his fight with the guy from mystery alaska was one of the best in the shows history.
season four for me wasnt as good as season three or one but on par with the second.
on the down side
claire has one job on the show, she is the cute chick that hung out with charlie, the idea of her having more to do and actually act is a terrible idea. there are a lot of good actors and actresses on the show, she aint one of them.
the big wheel under the island that moves it, try explaining that to someone who has never watched the show just to see the look on their faces. priceless
sawyer is the best swimmer ever, he could have swam to fuji by now.
dont buy sun's transformation into yakuiza queen.
as much as I liked the ending in the funeral palor. when they showed sayid breaking hurley out of the crazy house I though we were going to see the six back together and the begining stages of the return to the island. this season more or less leaves us the same place that last seasons finale did.
Lost and prison break are still my two favorite shows so I cant wait for the fifth season
Well you're gonna have to wait about 8 months.
ReplyDeleteI tend to side with Jack as well, but moreso because Locke always seems to fuck things up rather than I actually agree with Jack. Locke used to be a badass, but he's been a little too doe-eyed and a little less throwing knives at people lately.
I've liked seasons 2 through 4 about equally. Nothing has been as good as season 1 in my opinion, though.
My opinion on Claire is actually diametrically opposed to yours. Not that I think she's a stellar actress, but I'm just glad to see her doing something other than yelling "There's something wrong with my bay-bee!" for a change. I'm interested to see what happens with her not that Christian seemingly has her doped up on happy pills or something.
As far as the big wheel is concerned, it's very quickly become like Tobey Maguire's dance in Spiderman 3. It's the thing everyone seems to be jumping on the bandwagon of either hating or just bringing up constantly as being too weird. Though I'd have to say that explaining the "big wheel that makes the island disappear" probably wouldn't get any more odd looks from non-watchers of the show than you'd receive while attempting to explain the "flying black smoke monster that makes clanking noises, blows up trees, drags people into holes in the ground, reads people's minds, and is apparently controlled via an oily cave under Ben's house".
I'll forget briefly about LOST for 12 weeks this fall/winter when Dexter comes back for a third season, but no other shows can come close to topping LOST for me.
lost lost lost lost. lost lost lost jack lost lost lost lost lost lost lost. lost jack lost lost lost lost lost lost lost lost lost. lost lost jacklost lost lost lost jack lost lost. jack lost lost.
ReplyDeleteYou're just jealous because you spent the '07-'08 broadcast season watching American Idol instead of LOST (aka the coolest show that all the cool people watch).
ReplyDeleteJoel Lolar praising Lost? My mind is blown.
ReplyDeleteQuite shocking, I know.
