  1. The definition of an "EP"

An extended play (EP) is a vinyl record, CD, or digital download which contains more music than a single, but is too short to qualify as an LP. Usually, an EP has around 10–28 minutes of music, a single has up to 10 minutes, and an album has 30–80 minutes. So the Mars Volta is a full-length CD.

Thinking about it for 5 seconds after I said I thought LOST would be lower on Rian's list. I take it all back. Duh, of course it would be high on the list.

A couple of things I learned about myself: I say "yeah" "i mean" "c'mon" "definitely" & "really" a lot. I get really loud when I get excited. I laugh a lot, like Dr. Hibbert.

The quote at the end was great, Rian. When I saw the time clicking away, I thought, "No ending quote this week?" Then it was the greatest 2 second quote ever.

  2. So I if an EP is up to 28 minutes long and an album is 30 to 80, what is a 29 minute album called?

I had another TV show quote chosen for the ending, but when I got to thinking that we'd actually made movies before I figured I should use something from one of those, and the one I picked was the first one that came to mind.

  3. My top five list of TV Shows:

    5. Futurama
    It's funny, it's geeky, and it's a cartoon.

    4. The Simpsons
I'm only counting seasons 1-10 here, because in my opinion after that the show's quality dropped severely. I can still pop in any random episode from those first ten seasons and laugh myself silly, though.

    3. Lost
I agree with Rian that, through the sheer number of episodes of this show, there have been points where it wasn't as enjoyable as it could be. That's the only reason it's number three, because if every episode was as good as season one it would be at the top of this list.

    2. Battlestar Galactica
I'm surprised this didn't show up on anyone's list considering it's so great. In my opinion it's one of (if not the) best scripted and plotted TV show being aired right now. And, like my #1 choice, it has never had a significant drop in quality. Almost every episode is great (I can think of one episode I didn't really like, but after that episode the show went right back to its high quality). The only reason it's not number one is because I like the characters more in...

    1. Dexter
Such a great show, and, like Rian, I enjoyed every second of the twenty-four episodes that have aired so far. I love the characters and the plot always keeps me guessing.

    Honorable mentions:

    6. The Office (US)
    7. South Park
    8. Spaced
    9. The Office (UK)
    10. Extras
    11. Arrested Development
    12. Peep Show
    13. MST3K
    14. Bullshit!
    15. Mythbusters

  4. Oh, and on the topic of EPs, I've always felt that however the band sees the record, that's what I consider it. F'r instance, I know Rian and I have debated whether or not Nine Inch Nails' "Broken" is an EP or not (it has six tracks and two hidden tracks, and a running time of over a half hour), but NIN consider it an EP so I do too. Similarly, Weezer's green album has a running time of 28 minutes but is still considered an album, not an EP.
