ReplyDeleteNice work, guys. I think I agree with much of you two said about Predators and Inception. Predators impressed me a lot (mostly because it wasn't awful), and although there's some dumb stuff in it like Topher Grace's character, I enjoyed it overall. Not as good as the first movie, not as silly-cheesy-fun as the second movie perhaps, but enjoyable overall and soooo much better than AvP. I've seen some people online say it's boring and worse than AvP, but I was entertained throughout. Cristina on the other hand.... well, she's taking me to see Step Up 3D as payback for making her sit through Predators.
ReplyDeleteInception was brilliant. Cristina and I saw it with my dad in IMAX (my first true IMAX experience, although I saw The Dark Knight in fake IMAX), and she and I are going again to see it on Friday. On one of the message boards I post on, each year there's a "Movie Rating Thread" where you post a list of all the movies you've seen throughout the year, in order of how much you enjoyed them. I thought Toy Story 3 was going to sit on top of that list for the rest of the year, but man, Inception now has the top spot. So goddamn good.

Inception was mind blowing! I can't wait to see it again. I'm amazed to find some poor reviews by people that I can't imagine giving it a bad review. Like Film Junk. They gave it like 1 and half stars. What the -?!
