Hahaha, I can not believe you didn't know Francis Scott Key was from our area! It's not a coincidence that our High School, the mall, and Frederick's minor league baseball team are all named after him!
ReplyDeleteIn 1995, I can remember dialing up using Prodigy. I remember it wasn't really "the internet" but I filled out a lot of fun surveys and talked to "girls" in chat rooms.
The first song I ever downloaded using Napster was "Absolutely (Story Of A Girl)" by Nine Days.
I really liked this episode. It was fun hearing about the old days and Jesse cheating death on a jet ski.
Shit, it would've been nice if I'd seen your comment a week ago.
ReplyDeleteIt just goes to show how poor America's school systems are that I didn't know where FSK was from.
I'm glad you liked the show. Talking about real life rather than movies/comics was a conscious effort this episode. I believe we're going to try to do more of that from now on. Keep your fingers crossed.
