  1. Justin Lin directed the paintball episode, "Modern Warfare" of Community, so he's OK by me.

I really like Sigourney Weaver in "Imaginary Heroes". 2004 is relatively recent.

My two favorite moments of the show were Rian's drinking at a party analogy and this:

Rian: "Throw that on the stoop, see if the cat licks it up."
    Jesse: "OK."

  2. But do you know where the line about the cat comes from?

I forgot about Imaginary Heroes. That movie is awesome. Haven't seen in quite a while, though.

  3. I can't believe you'd like Chronicles of Riddick more than Pitch Black. It's been a few years since seeing it, but Pitch Black was awesome.

I surprised you guys just brush over the Stock*Pile project. Although, I get not over publicizing about yourselves, I think it'd be good. Get Joel on there and interview him and yourselves about what's happening. I'm interested at least... I think I started listening because of Jesse's art and knowing him from Penciljack.

  4. Pitch Black and Chronicles Of Riddick are two very different types of movies. Pitch Black is a more somber, dramatic movie, while Chronicles Of Riddick is over the top and ridiculous. I think Riddick is more fun. Pitch Black has elements that I like, but I think I'll always think of it as a so-so monster movie. I really wish they'd have focused more on the monsters, I guess.

Two weeks removed from this episode, I can't remember in what capacity we even brought up Stock*Pile, but we'll have to make a point to talk about it a bit more on a future show. We'll definitely try to get Joel on the podcast again soon.
