Awesome show guys & guests!
ReplyDeleteI think it's fantastic to finally hear the Stock*Pile news and what's being planned. Let the verbal obligation motivate you guys to finish! I know what you mean about putting the idea out there and then not doing it or other things come up. Happened to me with 2 stories, but working towards something solid finally.
great episode! i love Rian all jaded in the beginning about DC, so funny. he's probably right, too, but i guess i want to believe they'll stick to it even though i don't read any DCU stuff. it definitely made me kind of interested in the new Wonder Woman. it definitely all does seem same-old-same-old, like the "changes" are too little too late. guess we'll see when the books come out.
ReplyDeletegood luck with the Stock*Pile stuff, it all sounds great.
Nico - Thanks! I think putting it out there really gives motivation. Lack of motivation hasn't really stopped us before. It was more of not being good enough to be picked up :)
ReplyDeleteRoss - Thanks for listening! I'm in the camp of lets wait and see and it will get me more interested not being a DC historian.
Thanks for listening, guys. I think that talking about Stock*Pile was somewhat therapeutic for all of us. As for DC comics, I guess I'm coming from the angle of "re-numbering your books doesn't make them any more interesting to me than they already were, which wasn't very". An artist, a writer, an artist/writer team, or word of mouth after the fact are going to be the only things that get me interested in these DC books.
