oh man. the poop stories. gold. i don't know if you guys know that i'm a huge fan of poop/bathroom-related stories so this episode was a homerun for me, haha. i cannot believe that this stuff even happens. it's such a... i don't know, it's both mind-boggling and a powerful reaffirmation of humanity at the same time. next to death, assault, grief, and disease, that's as real as it gets.
ReplyDeletei hope you get on that comic house thing, Jesse! that would be really cool.
i know i keep gushing but thank you again for the great words about Wet Moon 6, Rian. i'm pretty pumped that it was that emotional for you, i feel like i've finally succeeded in making something that's the real deal, i don't know. it's great to hear because i worked really hard on volume 6, it was definitely an undertaking that i wasn't sure i could pull off. here's to volume 7!
Jesse, i think i told you this already on deviantart but i'm pretty sure Oni is working on bringing Wet Moon 1-5 to Comixology, so i'll keep you posted on that. thanks for picking up vol. 6 regardless. :)
I'm always excited when a new Wet Moon book comes out, and I've been tagging along with the characters for so long now that I'm attached to them, so it's no real surprise that when bad things happen to them, it's effective. Volume 6 was REALLY powerful, though. I mean, the entire book basically deals with the fallout of the cliffhanger from the end of volume 5, which is pretty heavy stuff. The first time I remember really feeling gut-punched by Wet Moon was the last page of volume 3 when Vincent rings the doorbell and we see who answers. That was a major shock.
DeleteI'll do my best to think of more poop stories for future episodes.
